SM-7500, offered by FLCubic LLC, is a clear, colorless, low-odor, and thermally stable blended fluorinated fluid developed as an alternative for applications currently using 3M™ Novec™ 7500 Engineered Fluid. It is a high-performance heat-transfer fluid designed for applications requiring nonflammability, electrical insulation, low-temperature fluidity, and strong environmental performance.
SM-7500 combines many of the inert and dielectric characteristics associated with perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and perfluoropolyethers (PFPEs). With a nominal boiling point of 128 °C, a low pour point of −100 °C, and high dielectric strength, it is suitable for evaluation in demanding single-phase thermal-management systems, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment and sensitive electronic systems.
